Henriette Eva Stierlin Szabo

Henriette Stierlin Szabó is a Hungarian-born anthropologist holding a doctorate in History. She devoted nearly two decades to professional and academic work in South America, engaging in development initiatives as well as scholarly activities. She is currently based in Zürich, Switzerland, where she continues her international academic, research, and documentary endeavours. She teaches a seminar on Latin American Indigenous cultures at the University of Szeged in Hungary, and she is the author of scholarly articles and books, and documentary films. Her academic work is situated in the fields of oral history, environmental history, and transdisciplinary research in the social sciences, with particular emphasis on Indigenous cultures.
