David Jones

David Jones initially took Social Studies and then trained as a social worker in psychiatry. He worked in his first therapeutic community in 1974 and then in various psychiatric and group settings in London and Oxford. He trained as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist in 1985 and then worked in a General Practice, with political refugees and running a counselling service in Oxfordshire. He entered the Prison Service in 2000 and now leads the assessment unit at Grendon Prison.
