K. Ganesh (b. 1955) with academic qualifications B.E, M.B.A., M.Phil (Management). started his professional career at Bharat Electronics Ltd., Bangalore in 1977 as an Engineer and served the organization for about 23 years. He also served as Director (Engineering) at Sasken Communication Technologies Limited, a Communications Software development organization for about 9 years. He developed interest in numismatics during 1995, and since then has published about 40 papers and nine books. He was honoured by the Karnataka Numismatic Society and the Tirupur Coin Society.
