Sergio Nudelstejer Befeler was born in Varsovia, Poland in February 24th 1924. By the age of three migrated to Mexico with his parents, later on they all became Mexican citizens. All his intellectual creation will be then in Spanish and will be greatly identified into the Mexican intellectual trend. He was honored with the Blaustein Prize, in New York, in 1982, "Premio al Mérito Intelectual Latinoamericano" (Latino American Intellectual Merit Prize) in Bueno Aires, in 1989.
