Md. Hasirbor Rehman (b. 1957) obtained his graduation with Honours in Economics from the Guwahati University, Guwahati, Assam in 1978. He served as a teacher in an English medium school for about three years. He is now working at Williamnagar as a District Extension Educator in the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of Meghalaya. Md. Hasibor Rahman has published a good number of articles on Islam and the Muslim of North-East India in reputed Dailies and Periodicals and is currently engaged in further study on the subject.
