Basil C. Hill

Basil C. Hill is the grandson of William Mason, seed of the famed "Irish" Mason shipbuilders who settled in Montserrat and married into the native population. On the other side of his family, Basil is a remnant branch of William Hill, a famous Scottish sea captain contracted to bring church building materials to the West Indies in the mid 19th century. Basil's roots are African, Hebrew, Irish, Scottish, and West Indian.
