Ross Campbell

1936 – 2012

D. Ross Campbell, M.D., was born and raised in New Mexico. He directed a mission hospital in Bolivia, then returned to the U.S. and received a B.S. degree from the United States Naval Academy, and went on to receive a medical degree from the University of Florida. He interned at Charlotte Memorial Hospital in North Carolina, where he received a fellowship in child psychiatry. He then returned to the University of Florida Shands Medical Center in Gainesville for his residency. He founded the Southeastern Counseling Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and served as its director until retiring in
