Current Exploration: Love, Me by Tiffany Cross The Focus: Over the next few months, we are diving deep into Love, Me by Tiffany Cross. This isn't just a story about a career or a public persona; it is a raw, Womanist exploration of self-preservation, resilience, and the radical act of a Black woman loving herself out loud. Why This Matters for Our Circle: As seasoned women, we understand that "love" isn't always about others; it’s about the grace we extend to the woman in the mirror. Tiffany’s journey challenges us to look at how we show up for ourselves when the world tries to dim our light. We are using this text as a catalyst to: Transform: Reclaim parts of our narrative that we’ve put on hold. Grow: Discuss the cost and the reward of speaking our truth in spaces not always built for us. Empower: Strengthen our collective bond by sharing how we navigate our own "Love, Me" seasons. Your Private Reflection Space: As you read, use your Private Journal section on this site to answer: What part of Tiffany’s "unscripted" truth resonates with my own? In what ways am I still learning to say "Love, Me" first? Our Live-Out-Loud Discussion: We will gather to talk through the themes of visibility, the "tipping point" of our careers and lives, and the beauty of being 45+ and finally standing in our full power.
