About
Just read it. Straight western but this has a twist with the Gunfighter Hell Jackson being the gun-fighting hero. He's joined by a newspaper writer from New York but not one of the dime novel types. He's given permission to join Jackson as he tries to solve a series of strange mysteries. They team up and give a good showing of themselves and the news man is not some little wimp but an intelligent man looking to toughen up and report truthful news. Quite a change just in that alone. Very entertaining and fast reading.
