This is the story of my journey through a high school career smattered with nine surgical operations and complications with many of them. Five of the surgeries were major(2 ACL Reconstructions, a Nissen Fundoplication, an Appendectomy and a Cholecystectomy) and four minor. This book focuses on two specific surgeries in which the road drew me to my very limits. My only escape was through my world (and the sport) of fly-fishing. I'd find peace in the river and in the beauty of the trout I'd hold- this would offer me some consolation for the medical disasters. I promise to tell many stories of fishing adventures, but I also must say that much of this book is not an "easy" read.
