The nursing profession contributes much to health of the society; however, it is still not recognized and respected like other professions. Nurses play an important role in effective management of health care. Nurses as working women have a variety of roles to perform due to which they do face certain problems. Being subjected to the dual demands of home and work they are liable to face a crisis of adjustment, especially with children, household chores and other family responsibilities.
