Zombi Island

Nearly 200 years before Night of the Living Dead and World War Z, there was Zombi Island, where a motley crew of West Indies pirates waged a gruesome battle against an army of the Undead.

In 1824, William Compton, a secret agent for the U.S. government, infiltrates the notorious pirate ship El Conquistador to try to save a kidnapped senator and his daughter, but before he can carry out his mission, the United States Navy attacks the ship and forces it to hide on a mysterious island. The pirates are led there by the captain’s bewitching but enigmatic lover, who claims there are hidden treasures to be found there. What they find instead is an army of flesh-eating zombies who have waited decades to exact their revenge on those responsible for their fate. Steadfast in his resolve to rescue the senator and his daughter, William must join forces with the pirates to fight off the horde of zombies, but as they battle the monstrous creatures, a disturbing question quickly arises: How do you kill that which is already dead?
