Greenville and Bond County

Founded in 1815, Greenville has evolved from a small farming community into a larger, modern town that today serves as the seat of Bond County. Greenville's town square, once the site of Civil War drills, political campaigns, and Depression-era protests, still draws in residents from Pocahontas, Mulberry Grove, and other surrounding villages.
