Rebecca Wilder and Scott Thompson have been best friends since they were babies. In high school they started dating and shared all their romantic firsts, but one.
Ethyl Martin has always been everyone’s best friend. As a child, she could always jump the farthest, run the fastest, and hold her breath the longest. In high school she joined every team she could, and kissed a few of her teammates, a cheerleader or two, and the salutatorian.
When the three are at the same college and the girls share a dorm, Rebecca experiences feelings that, although she loves Scott, she has never felt before.
