Children with special needs are not so different from healthy children. Although, taking care of of a child with special needs can be one of the most heart wrenching experiences a parent can go through, but at the same time it can also be very rewarding. That's why as parents, it's important to remember that kids with disabilities are children first. They have the same needs as all children, a place where they feel loved and people who care about them.
