Although Madoc is still the main character in this book, we see Rosie growing up quick and flexing her independence and learning what is important in her life. There are many difficult decisions to be made By Madoc, Brody, Jana and Rosie. Some new people come in and some leave. This will be the last of these young adult books in the "Madoc Series."
