About
From the Publisher:
The album "National Parks of Poland" is a supplement to an earlier album "National Parks of the World". For this reason, attempts were undertaken to keep it in a similar convention. The album shows the beauty of Polish nature requiring special protection due to the wealth of vegetation and animal world, and which has a significant place in the world's nature. Apart from the beautiful photographs, there is a description of each park, which is a unique asset of the publication. The descriptions are authentic as the authors know the respective parks very well, have worked there for years, and are often responsible for them. The authors includ directors of parks, scientists, and staff directly responsible for granting access to researchers and tourists. The photographs were taken by both renowned professional photographers and amateur photographers employed in the given park. The information and numerical data given in the introduction enable the reader to look closely at the functioning of the parks, their tasks, and goals.
The beauty of nature presented in the album will be a vote in defence of the natural environment which is alarmingly endangered by human activities polluting the water and land.
The rare animal species and charming landscapes preserved in these colour photographs are to make the readers more aware of the treasures of nature and landscape which are being sentenced to death by man.
