Minimalism

In bankruptcy with his failed newspaper chain, sick of minimalism and jeered at even by friends because of strong editorials and opinion writings, Dan Bodine went into self-exile to the mountainous, desolate ruggedness of the Chihuahua Desert at Presidio, TX, in 1989--located just across the Rio Grande from it twin port city, Ojinaga, Mx. Disappearing only with meager earnings into a different culture and the harshest of environments to take over a weekly newspaper there, he now has been the only judge for this community as well as for the entire southern half of one of the largest counties in Texas for almost 16 years.
