Tetekela yaNakale

This is a novel about a young boy named Tetekela, who is both very bright academically and a brilliant athlete. He becomes famous due to his achievements in athletics and travels around the world, taking part in athletics meetings. But things do not keep going well for Tetekela. After he makes two schoolgirls pregnant, he runs away to the south of Namibia. Although he gets a job, he steals a diamond in order to supplement his income, and ends up in jail. When he comes out of jail, he determines to start a new life. He goes to South Africa to study teaching, where he marries a Namibian woman whom he meets at the university. But his past comes back to haunt him.
