About
Life hadn’t been particularly kind to Liz. Having to bring up her daughter alone after the death of her husband hadn’t been easy. But she had done it. Liz was not given to moaning, she got on with life.
However, the shocking and unexpected end of her long term relationship with Dan created a situation she could not cope with and gave her no alternative but to move away from the town which had been home for so long. Still, it was a new start and Liz was giving it all she had.
But then Dan’s young wife is found dead, murdered, and Liz is the prime suspect. Before long, Liz is cleared of any suspicion, but it gradually becomes clear that, not only was she deliberately framed, but someone is still gunning for her.
As the fragile framework of her new life disintegrates, Liz’s life takes an unexpected turn as Stephen Merritt, initially appointed as her legal representative, becomes a close friend, supporting her through what turns out to be a terrifying and life threatening experience.
