The violence of the state is a concept that was often linked to political writings, in the third world generally and especially in the Arab and Muslim countries. Morocco is not an exception. This symposium examines the Raison d'Etat and Realpolitik as emerging concepts of state violence. It also considers the issue of censorship and its role in limiting the debate on illegitimate violence in the public space, the barriers that it draws in the history of events, its participation in enriching the historical truth as well as the legal and intellectual basis on which the bodies of censure for exercising illegitimate violence.
