The Pack

This book opens in 1927 with the Bill Adams family living in poverty. It moves forward with the story of Bill's life, with lessons that embrace a way of life that drives a code of ethics, responsibility, determination, obedience, economics, honor and belief that with God nothing is impossible. It teaches teenagers there is no excuse for failing to get an education even though it comes the hard way. The story line follows Bill into the military and through World War II, his return home, his lifetime of work and play with his families and friends. It includes fantasy romance and true romance. It teaches morality, humility, love and devotion to family, and love and devotion to America. It is intended to be a true story. Of course, dates, times and place may not be exact, and some fiction is included to improve readability, but to the best of the writer's ability to recall facts, the story in this book contains fact.
