Based on a true story *LAST STAND of the WOLVES - an Oracle by CJ Candel*, follows a young girl who was chosen by 31 spirits of wolves as their medium to help save their species from extinction. The wolves were killed in the early 1900s by the girl's sheepherder uncle. They come back to the year 1998 in obvious spirit form manifesting themselves as images in an odd wooden plant STAND first noticed. Incredibly, this Stand was made by her uncle 100 years ago and mysteriously shows up at her door. They make themselves visible to her which consumes her every day life. She seeks the help of a Medicine Man to assure the wolves survival and to send them back to where they came. A web of paranormal events and the belief of a supernatural existence is evidenced in this book with true-to-life photos. Author CJ Candel is the girl in the story. All art work and poems (2) originate by the author.
