It wasn't until I didn't have to deal with it that I realized how much stress I suffered just because I had a suitcase - from dropping it off at the airline counter, to wondering if it was going to make it, to waiting for it in baggage claim and getting it in and out, and on and off, taxis, hotels and trains. Instead, while people on the plane headed to baggage claim (after a fourteen-hour flight!), I walked right past them and out the door to begin my fabulous vacation in Italy.
