John Guille "Johnny" Millais (1865 –1931) was a British naturalist, travel writer who was passionate about big game hunting in Africa.

In 1909 Millais was a founder member of the Shikar Club, a sportsclub where like-minded associates could dine and discuss their passion for hunting especially big game hunting. Fellow members included the famous hunters Frederick Selous and explorer and hunter Frank Wallace.

After the War, Millais wrote and published a book on his life and hunting exploits in Africa and Scotland. Wanderings and Memories chronicled his passion for big game hunting and his fondness for the Scotland of his childhood. It contains a chapter about Millais' close friend, African game hunter Arthur Henry Neumann, which has been reprinted in this Kindle edition.

Arthur Henry Neumann ( 1850 –1907) was a British explorer, big game hunter, soldier, and travel writer, famous for his elephant hunting exploits in Equatorial East Africa. In 1898 he published Elephant Hunting In East Equatorial Africa.

This book originally published in 1919 has been reformatted for the Kindle and may contain an occasional defect from the original publication or from the reformatting.
