Young Ghosts

Children and ghosts have been associated for centuries. Children seem to report seeing ghosts more frequently than do adults. There are plenty of children who are supposed to have become ghosts. And in many cases, the mere presence of a child seems to trigger ghostly happenings.

In America, there is the celebrated tale of the Bell Witch of Tennessee, one of the most persistent, talkative, and troublesome spirits ever to haunt a family. At the center of it all was a young girl named Betsy.

All of the stories in this book are true, in the sense that someone at some time believed the ghostly events actually happened. Whether they did or not, you can decide for yourself.
