About
MTC prepared a program-level Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the Transportation 2035 Plan for the San Francisco Bay Area in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). This environmental assessment informs decision-makers, responsible and trustee agencies, and the general public of the range of potential environmental impacts that could result from the implementation of the Transportation 2035 Plan. This EIR recommends a set of measures to mitigate identified significant adverse regional environmental impacts. It also analyzes a range of alternatives to the Transportation 2035 Plan. As the lead agency for this EIR, MTC used it in its review of the Draft Transportation 2035 Plan prior to taking action on the Plan.
