Strangers Among Us

This book is to give credit to those immigrants who contributed to the growth and economic development of Blackford County. Indiana when oil and gas were discovered here in the late 19th century. In the immigrant’s eyes this was the fulfillment of their dreams to come to a “new hand” and have the opportunity for a better life for themselves and their families. Truly, America was a “Melting Pot” and our small community proves that.
