Anders Persson Löfgren (1818-1901) was born in Barsebeck, Sweden to Pehr Nilson Löfgren and Anna Lars Dotter. He lived in poverty as a child. In 1857 Anders joined the LDS Church and in 1862 he and his young family immigrated to America. They settled in Huntsville, Utah where he was a farmer. Anders was married three times and was the father of nine children. His descendants live in Utah.
