Game Strengths ANIMAL CROSSING will be the first game to fully utilize the real-time clock within the GameCube console. Not only will the sun rise and set around the same time as the one outside your window, but the seasons will pass with all of the same environmental changes and flourish of the holidays. The clock continues to tick even while you are away from your game, so don't be surprised upon your return if you find things have changed in this never ending story. Nintendo delivers many treasures in one package with ANIMAL CROSSING. Gamers will have the ability to link to their GBA and explore a bonus island territory or download classic NES games such as Donkey Kong and Pinball. There will also be collectible cards available separately that can be scanned by the GBA's e-Reader for additional songs and textures.
