Included also are two very popularly read stories, "The Dragon's Tears" and "Why the Red Elf Cried," which are originals by the leading contemporary writer of children's stories in Japan, Hirosuke Hamada, who has been devoting over 40 years of his life in writing stories for children. "Kintaro's Adventures," retold by Genichi Kume, is another interesting modern version based on the traditional story of "Kintaro." 90 new and charming illustrations, including 12 in full color.
