The cross of Christ is the focal point of history. Prior to the crucifixion, our salvation is anticipated. After the death of Jesus the cross reflects our salvation. Who beheld the Savior that day at Golgotha? Some of Christas followers are revealed in the Biblical text, but the pages of Holy Scripture are silent regarding the involvement of others who may have been standing at the foot of the cross. What were their thoughts and feelings on aGood Fridaya and the day after? The Biblical characters were indelibly impacted by the life and ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ. Behold the Man is a series of soliloquies by characters whose lives intersected with our Lordas ministry. They are viewed and heard the day after the cross. Men and women, followers and critics, allow us insights into their lives and, hopefully, into ours as well.
