Instead he meets Elias, an alien, and is convinced that he should go away from this world. He leaves the Earth. He feels that his mother will have a better life and a chance at happiness when he is gone. He is convinced that he will be allowing her to experience true happiness. Ten years pass, before he returns to see if his absence improved his mother's situation. This story chronicles what adventures and changes have happened between the time he left, and the time he returned.
