This Mess Is a Place

Miguel A. Gonzalez was born in Havana, Cuba, in 1966. Upon his arrival to Miami, Florida, in 1971 at the age of five, this family of six lived in a small two-bedroom house. Organization and space management soon became a lifestyle for the entire family, a skill that stayed with him throughout his growing years, often perfecting ways to maximize space. Organization and space management play an important role in our lives by providing us with discipline, structure, and focus. It organizes more than just the space around us; it organizes our thoughts and our lives. The misconceptions surrounding organization and space cause us to withdraw from taking action and resolving our space issues. With understanding and a basic set of rules, this task, often perceived as daunting, becomes fun, easy and rewarding.
