About
A story of love, deceit, betrayal and murder across the religious divide in an enclave of East Belfast streets in the late 1950's at the start of the troubles. Trevor was a fanatical member of the Protestant paramilitary. He loved his little sister Noreen more than he should and the feeling was mutual. He would do anything to protect her. They both had to suppress their feelings in an attempt to move on. The street tranquility was shattered by the arrival of Catholic gypsy Mary and her two children, followed by Helen, dumped at birth on the steps of a convent by her protestant mother and now searching for her roots. These upheavals would test the resolve and tolerance of this secular community to it's limits with tragic consequences.
