Dead Rabbits

"Dead Rabbits" was the name given to a street gang in New York City who were depicted in the Martin Scorsese fictional film Gangs of New York. Just as it was for that notorious group in the movie, Lieutenant Scott Flanigan describes his gang of "Dead Rabbits" as a 2nd Platoon unit made up of rough and tough soldiers from all over the United States who came together for a common purpose--control the streets of Baghdad and accomplish their mission.
