Chapter eight summarises the achievements of the Chamber during its crucial years of existence while Chapter nine gives a detailed account of the Princes' problems and their discussions in the Chamber sessions during the early forties. The last Chapter describes the developments leading to India's independence and which culminated in the lapse of paramountcy and winding up of the Chamber.
