About
A collection of poetic stories on versatile themes. The first chapter, "Abduction," takes its influence from the real-life kidnappings and sexual abuse stories that the people of New Delhi, India, have become used to hearing. The second chapter, "Cosmos," is the story of an astronaut's journey into outer space and beyond. The third chapter, "Mistakes," is the story of a guy in his twenties who has a secure job, a wife, and a three-year-old son. He faces existential crises and tries to find a meaning to his life by arriving somewhere where he sees no one but himself. In addition, there are two more chapters with independent poems on subjects ranging from quantum physics, songwriting, psychology, and even comedy. The author being a musician himself, his writing style for this book is influenced by the works of Steven Wilson (singer/songwriter of Porcupine Tree), Steve Harris (bass guitarist / songwriter of Iron Maiden), and John Mayer.
