Ṿortslen fun der mishpoḥe Granadir [Roots of the Granadier (Grand) Family]

This book offers a brief memoir of the author, which he elaborated upon in his book "From Zhitkovitch Throughout the World: Episodes of My Life" but primarily is a cataloging of his relatives and their lives in Zhitkovitch in the Russian Empire (now Žytkavičy, Belarus) and neighboring shtetls, and on through their emigration to the United States or elsewhere. Brief stories of four generations are given in an informal manner, as told to family members to let them know who their relatives are and their family history — which is exactly why this book was written. This is the story of an ordinary Jewish family from Eastern Europe at the start of the 20th century.
