Julie is the young widow of Jedidiah. She is now ready to start her duties at the church but, they are not ready for her. They want her to confess to adultery but she says Grace is Jedidiah’s. However, Jedidiah had a test done to prove the parents of the little child, before he died. Grace has red hair as does the doctor at the mission hospital. This is why the church is upset with Julie.
