The Chronicles of Elijah Kain: The Sword of Souls

To challenge destiny is to change the world. When the lives of seven perfectly normal teenagers collide, no one is prepared for the result. As they cope with their new reality and abilities they have no idea how to use, wicked things begin to stir around them. Nightmares are now reality. And then everything changes when they find a long lost sword that has the potential to destroy Calamity and save the world. When one of Elijah's friends touches the blade, she goes insane, attacks her family, and disappears without a trace. The friends find themselves in a race against Calamity to save their lost friend before it's too late. With help from the Witch of Akron and a mysterious sword with devastating powers, the seven teenagers must find a way to defeat Calamity and beat their own destiny. But when they challenge destiny they could just change the fate of the world.
