FBI Special Agent-in-Charge Sassy Steiner rushes to the United States Senate Office Building in what appears to be a terrorist attack. Hundreds evacuate the Senate Office Buildings, as Washington, D.C., is shutdown. The Capitol, zippered in a balloon of collective fear, holds its breath. As Sassy and her partner FBI Special Agent Tomas Medina investigate the event, they discover more than they anticipated. They followed a trail leading them from Washington, D.C. to the upper Northwest Territories. Nothing is what it seems, as the body count adds up. Assistant Federal Prosecutor Erin Dushanbe implements the Patriot Act. Is the Patriot Act justified as a tool to gather evidence? The secrets hidden buried deep within the psyche of the terrorists are unraveled at a snail’s pace. Who are the terrorists? Can Erin, Sassy and Tomas stop them from escaping undetected?
