About
Pandemonium is the true account of a twenty-five-year-old wife and mother who suffers one of the most devastating experiences that a husband or wife can suffer. After her husband is killed, Shelly has to recover not only from her own trauma but also help her now fatherless two- and three-year-old daughters cope with losing their daddy. Shelly learns that burying her husband’s ashes is just the beginning of difficult times. She must deal with neighbors who bully her and her children, seek legal help to assist with lawsuits and mounds of paperwork, and ensure that her little family has financial resources. Eventually she moves to a different town but still continues on earning her Bachelor’s degree and her Master’s Degree. After she learns more about her husband’s activities, she ponders the notion of whether or not she is worthy of love. Yet through each struggle, Shelly protects her daughters and gradually allows herself to trust and to be open to a new love. She finds that she is indeed worthy to be loved again.
