About
Tells the story of socially adept, thirteen-year-old Hadley and her protective mother, Claire. Claire develops epilepsy and with it a traumatic disorientation which leads her to begin an affair. Hadley feels abandoned and runs away, falling under the influence of a predatory man who gives shelter to runaways. Both try to regain control of themselves and their lives.
