Menfreya in the Morning

Harriet is an unloved child, despite being her wealthy MP father's sole heir. Her best friend's family becomes her refuge; the magical Menfreys of Cornwall. Through that family's friendship and understanding comes Harriet's improved view of relationships and the bonds of love, both familial and romantic. Through youthful adventures with Gwennan and her marriage into that family with Gwennan's brother Bevil comes her sense of belonging to a family. But there is a dark side, as most families have. And danger from an unexpected, beloved source brings both grief and absolute proof of her husband's love.
