What does one do when their mate of sixteen years runs off, the car and cat they've had for sixteen years die, and even the church of their youth closes their doors for good? Write poetry, of course! That's what Ramona Cummings did when in May of 2006 she turned forty and her world literally fell apart. She knew drugs and alcohol were not the answer, and the words of her friends, heartfelt as they were, didn't stop the pain. The only answer she found was within her, in the unrealized, God-given talent of writing poetry. Through this gift, she was able to release pain and ask dark questions about life.
