The Second Son

His name is Joseph Turner, a brave young construction worker, who rescues an imperiled co-worker trapped on a swaying iron girder twenty-four stories high-only to slip and plummet to the pavement below. He rescues a child from a burning building by walking up a stairway that isn't there. He heals a gunshot wound with the power of his touch. When the Catholic Church suspects he is the Second Son of God come to earth, they kidnap him, seeking to prove they are right.
