The Disintegrating Bloodline

Chris Mangini is unconventional; he's a successful father, a loving husband, a Captain to his own crew of thugs, but he also has secrets. America has provided him opportunity in his own mafia family, but he's never been rid of his enemies. One enemy, a Sicilian, Don Mezziogorno, refuses to take the bounty off his cousin's head. The only problem is: Chris hasn't seen him let alone be able to protect him. Set in the 90's, in a post technological world where CD's have been labeled as contraband by the government, and cell phones are as thick as a walkie-talkie the last bit of serenity he might have in this pre-digital world is with his cousin. His journey will force him to decide whether his past will dictate his future, in a world where one person in a million might just be the one person he can count on. And the only place he can look is in a high school.
