About
Yet another Cold War relic has returned to roost with its Russian masters, one that could ultimately send the world reeling back to the dark days that preceded the Cuban Missile crisis. In 1975, the Soviet Union strategically buried thirty-two portable nuclear weapons, or "suitcase nukes" in NATO slang, disbursing them in and around potential military and civilian targets in the United States. A disgruntled ex-KGB agent with intimate knowledge of the weapons existence discloses two of the locations to a group of religious extremists whose state seeks independence from Russia. With the weapons information in hand, the extremists duel with the FBI and local policing authorities as they battle their way to the weapons locations. The ensuing chaos allows an unlikely collaborative effort to unfold between the heads of British MI-6 and the Russian GRU, both hoping to procure one of the nuclear weapons for their own twisted agenda.
