About
This study is part of an ongoing program of public opinion research sponsored by the European Community. Respondents for Euro-Barometer 13 were interviewed in April 1980. In addition to repeating questions on attitudes towards European integration, life satisfaction, and societal goals that have appeared in earlier Euro-Barometers, this study contains a battery of questions dealing with problems of regional development within the European Community and preferences for political and military ties with the United States, NATO, and the Eastern European bloc. Questions on the expansion of the European Community to include Greece, Spain, and Portugal are also included.
